Old carpet in baby's room
New carpet and new paint. The paint didn't turn out like we had planned, but it looks nice. We were really trying to stay away from baby blue, but it was bluer than we had hoped. Oh well!
With the crib :) We decided to set up the crib, because heck, new carpet and paint, time to start setting up right? Also, I want to try and make some of the bedding, so I need it to take the measurements. I absolutely love it!

Oh, I love that crib. We have gone through 3 cribs (oi, the recalls!!) and the one we have now is very similar to yours and I love it.
My favorite part during pregnancy is envisioning that little baby in it's crib sleeping. So precious! I'm so excited for you!

the new carpet TOTALLY shows a difference. I love it, so fresh so clean! You guys did it yourselves?
thanks guys! mandy - we just pulled everything out, but we had it installed. we don't have the tools to stretch it out and stuff and not sure how to it anyways :) can you believe your baby will be here so soon!! AHHHHHH

Ps...you're going to make some of the bedding?! Sweeet! I still need to make Ruby's bedskirt. Let me know if you need any help, and I could come down and we could sew for the weekend...wouldnt that be so fun!?

Hey....yeah good to know you have a blog too! yep my dad is the builder and actually working his butt off helping, but my husband is the one that is doing most of the work himself, that is why is has taken almost a year now to finish it....but hey, it is almost done!! I am going in this saturday while carrie is working at the hospital to see if we can find out what we are having, but my real appt isnt for another 2 weeks....ahhhhhhh=)
