24 1/2 weeks.... practically 6 months

I'm a little behind, but here are the shots. "Technically" six months is at 26 weeks, so I'm pretty close. It doesn't make sense, I know, but to be exact 24 weeks 4 days in these pictures.

Overstock Lagoon Day

Every year, Overstock takes their employees to Lagoon. It's super nice because we get 2 free tickets, free lunch and a raffle. This year, they rented out the entire park, so the lines were super short. But I had to sit out because of the little babe in my belly, but I still had a lot of fun. I was able to ride the ferris wheel at least!

Rollercoasters

If you look closely enough, Josh is in the seat third from the front and he's on his phone. He says he was trying to take a picture, but I still thing he was checking twitter or something :)

What a thrill the ferris wheel was! hehe

Memorial Day - St. George

We went down to St. George over Memorial Day just to get away. The plan was to stay in a hotel and just enjoy being together, but our wonderful friends, Sunny and Kelly were going down and Sunny's family lives there, so they invited us to come stay with them, which was super nice of them! We were able to enjoy their company and still have the getaway we were looking for.

Making the drive down to St. George

A little tennis anyone?

One of our favorites... bocce ball

I didn't play tennis, but I did play bocce ball. Dr's orders. Josh played some golf while there, but I didn't go so I don't have pictures of that. Overall, a wonderful weekend!

My pregnancy thus far

I have been extremely lucky this pregnancy. I thought for sure it would be more misearable than it is (and trust me, I know it will get worse, but for now).

- I never had morning sickness
- I do get heartburn but not terrible. I just pop 1 Tums and I'm good to go.
- I get hungry a lot
- I don't think I ever got more tired than I was before I was pregnant, maybe slightly
- Unfortunately, my boobs have only grown a tiny bit so far, but I'm sure that will change after he's here
- I never craved anything specific. Only if I heard someone talk about something or I saw a commerical then it would sound really good, but I never had to run out and buy it right away.
- I pee a lot, but not a ton (yet)
- I've had a couple of headaches
- My biggest problem is my back starts to ache from sitting at work all day
- My feet hurt when I'm standing too long (even after an hour)
- I still sleep all night. Sometimes I wake up to pee, but not too often.
- No stretch marks (yet)
- The heat hasn't been terrible yet this summer, which is good
- I got to feel our baby move around 20 weeks... never felt flutters, just punches and kicks, so cute
- Only one week later, we could feel him from the outside and Josh could feel him too... tender moment
- Now I'm feeling him like crazy and he jabs me all the time - that little bully. It's still a little scary, I'll be honest (I'm not used to it!) but reassuring and so cute to know he's getting bigger

I still can't believe there is a little life inside of me (about a foot long and a little over a pound) that we will be responsible for.... and it's only 3 1/2 months away. I CAN NOT WAIT.

coming soon

I just realized how boring I was and that I haven't posted for 2 weeks. That will change soon, once I have something sweet to blog about :) A new belly picture is in order since I'm now 24 weeks, maybe that will show up here by tomorrow. We'll see.

This week's menu

Here's my menu for the week, if anyone is looking for ideas! I love seeing menus on people's blogs (Kimber, Steph, etc) because it makes it easier for me to figure out what to make!! (These are not my photos, I took them from the web)

The run down:

Monday - Bacon/Tomato Pasta

Tuesday - Chicken Quesadillas

Wednesday - Breakfast Burritos

Thursday - Pork Chop Skillet

Friday - Chicken Enchiladas

Saturday - Meatball Subs

Sunday - Homemade Lasagna

On a side note...one of my favorite things to eat are club sandwiches. I have figured out how to make them at home (obviously not difficult) and they taste just the same as restaurant style. Here is a picture of the ones we made:

I also need to update our blog about our Memorial Day weekend to St. George and our day at Lagoon... something to look forward to :)
